Tottenham rejects £12million Southampton offer for Townsend

Tottenham have rejected a £12million offer from Southampton for Andros Townsend and have reiterated to clubs that the England winger is not for sale, according to our sources. The 23-year-old was the subject of a £10m offer from the Saints earlier this month, which was staunchly rebuffed, but our source understands the south coast club may return with a third offer.
Townsend received his first call-up to the senior England squad in September 2013, for the World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine .
He made his senior debut in the starting eleven against Montenegro on 11 October. He was involved in England's first goal in a 4–1 win, and was named man of the match.
Townsend was an integral part of the Spurs team last season scoring a goal in 25 matches.
