Wenger Feeling More Comfortable

Wenger says he feels a lot
more comfortable about his
squad after their 3-0 thrashing
of Manchester City in the FA
Community Shield at Wembley
on Sunday.

Speaking after the game Wenger feels his
side produced a complete performance and
he is now confident his squad can succeed
in the league.
“I felt we had a complete performance in
the first half and we stuck together well in
the second half,” said Wenger.
“It was important for our confidence to win
the game, we also had a quality
performance and that is comforting for me.
“I have more attacking options than I had
for a long time, that's for sure.
“We are a strong squad.
“Today was good preparation - it was
important to win today and now we focus
on a very different game next week.”
Arsenal are next in action in a league match
this coming Saturday against Crystal
Palace.
