Albania whiped Portugal in EURO 2016 qualifier

    Portugal started their 2016 European
Championship qualifying campaign with a shock 1-0 loss to Albania at Estádio Municipal de Aveiro.
Paulo Bento was without the service of star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo and his former club teammate Nani was the side's captain for the night.
It was a slow start to the game for both sides, as Portugal's first chance arrived in the 14th minute as Nani dragged his close range effort wide of the mark, despite Vierinha being in a better position.
Pepe should have broken the deadlock in the 30th minute, as the defender failed to steer his header
on target, after being picked out Fabio Coentrao.
Rui Patricio came to Portugal's rescue just before the halftime break, as he came rushing off his line to deny Odise Roshi from giving Albania the lead.
And it was Albania who took the lead in the 52nd minute as Bekim Blaj volleyed into the top corner after being picked out Roshi.
Ricardo Horta nearly brought Portugal level in the 69th minute, but the midfielder's strike from 25-yards was kept out by the crossbar. Nani should levelled matters for Portugal in the 76th minute but winger headed horribly wide of the target form six-yards out.
The Portuguese pushed for the all important equaliser in the closing stages of the half, but could not find the breakthrough, as Albania held on
    for an impressive victory.
